Did you know that there are 3 different types of brush fires?

A Type 1 fire is a small camp or cooking fire no bigger than 2 feet in diameter contained in a ring of fire resistant material or portable fireplace. Allowing for conditions, a Type 1 fire may be kindled with a permit at any time of day raining or not.

A Type 2 fire is a camp or cooking fire no greater than 4 feet in diameter and contained in a fire resistant ring. Allowing for conditions this fire may be kindled only with a permit and only between the hours of 5:00pm and 9:00am.

A Type 3 fire means any other type of fire greater than 4 feet in diameter and not contained within a fire resistant ring. Allowing for conditions this fire may only be kindled with a permit and between the hours of 5:00pm and 9:00am.

Brush and wood cannot exceed 5 inches in diameter. No combustable domestic waste, treated wood, or composite materials may be burned, under any circumstances.
